Simple Burrata Salad
Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream.
The outer shell is solid mozzrella, whilst the inside is made from both mozarella and cream giving it a meltingly soft texture. Burrata means 'buttered' in Italian.
We serve this delicious cheese as part of a simple, yet delightful salad of fresh tomatoes and basil with ciabatta all drizzled with plenty of extra virgin olive oil.
Simply slice as many tomatoes as you like, alternate on your plate with slices of the burrata, either on top of, or next to slices of warmed ciabatta, tear some basil over the plate and drizzle with plenty of good quality extra virgin olive oil. Simply devine!
