Mill Road Winter Fair

It’s an annual event that goes from busy to well stupidly, insanely busy… but in a good way.  Mill Road has fast become one of Cambridge’s treasures and the Winter Fair, which takes place on the first Saturday of the month, is a celebration of all that is independent and unique.

The day starts off with one of the main roads in the city closed to traffic and builds to a crescendo as a vast majority of the town’s population descends, on foot, to one street.  Here at Limoncello we love it as we get the opportunity to meet as many of our customers as possible. The atmosphere is infectious as we provide them with a little Christmas cheer in the way of tasty treats including a selection of cheeses, meats, pestos and our world famous panettone. And for those feeling the wind's bite there's mulled wine with an Italian twist!

As Steve Turvill, owner of Limoncello advised ‘The great thing about the Mill Road Winter Fair is the opportunity to meet and greet more people from a wider area than usual and give them a little taste of Italy’.

And when the madness has died down and the shop swept clean, Limoncello customers get a treat as they can enjoy our tasting policy any day of the week. This means it’s our aim to let you try anything you are intending to buy, so you are completely happy with your purchase.
