Bellini Cocktail Classic Peach Mix
The Bellini is a cocktail originally invented by Giuseppe Cipriani in Harry’s Bar in Venice sometime during the 1930s or 40s. The ingredients are Prosecco and puree from white peaches. The Bellini has become widely known as a light, sweet and refreshing cocktail, with a beautiful pale peach colour. The easiest way to make Bellini’s is to use this original, lightly carbonated, Cipriani Peach mix then add some prosecco to suit your tastebuds.
Harry’s Bar in Venice was popularised by Ernest Hemingway and Orson Welles, where the Bellini was a seasonal speciality cocktail. Word of the cocktail gradually spread and it is now served all year around, at many kinds of celebrations. They are very easy to make at home, by simply combining the Bellini mix with Prosecco.
